Live and breath underwater. Are basically half fish and enchantingly beautiful with wondrous voices. Females prey on the souls of human males by luring them into the sea with their songs and drowning them in the dark waters. Males are known to be war like in nature and often attack ships for little or no reason.
Occasionally come up on land to dwell among the humans.
